The Market Access Center offered listed companies eight distinct services — market intelligence, education, research, investor outreach, visibility, governance, strategic alliances and advocacy. Presented as a list, that reads as a wall of corporate offerings; the design problem was making it navigable.
The answer was a bespoke icon set, one mark per service, used consistently as the organizing device: on the cover as an index, in the contents, at the head of each section, and along a tabbed strip at the foot of every spread so a reader always knows where they are. Aerial Manhattan photography in monochrome, cut through with a blue ribbon motif, ties the whole system to the NYSE Euronext brand of the period.
